Doctors of Optometry
Peter Pak O.D.
Dr. Peter Pak is a native of Austin, Texas. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and was awarded his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston. While attending optometry school he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Pak completed his externship rotation which specialized in ocular disease and traumatic brain injury patients at the Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He is currently licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist in the state of Texas. He also maintains memberships in the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. His personal interests include pencil sketching and playing the drums.
Linda Pak O.D.
Dr. Linda Pak attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She was awarded her Doctorate of Optometry, graduated with honors, and an additional Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Pak was honored with the Dean's List Award for excellence in academic achievement and received the Primary Care Clinical Achievement Award for outstanding clinical performance and patient care. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the international optometric honor society. She is currently licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist.
Dr. Pak maintains active memberships in the Central Texas Optometric Society, the Texas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Pak enjoys hiking with her husband and playing fetch with her pembroke welsh corgi named Mochi.
Irene Fuentes O.D.
Dr. Irene Fuentes received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She was awarded her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio. She is currently licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Certified Glaucoma Specialist. Her externship rotations at the Ft. Worth VA and the Brooke Army Medical Center focused on specialized care for geriatric patients and ocular disease such as glaucoma. Dr. Fuentes provides specialty and comprehensive eye exams for contact lenses, pediatric eye care, and cataract and LASIK management. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Central Texas Optometric Society. Dr. Fuentes enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, riding her bike, and trying new food.
Kim Nguyen O.D.
Dr. Kim Nguyen was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition at Louisiana State University. She then went on to graduate with honors and receive her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston. Dr. Nguyen completed an ocular disease externship at the Cedar Springs Eye Clinic in Dallas, TX. She also received training in primary care, ophthalmic laser procedures, and specialty contact lenses at the Acadian Vision Eye Clinic in Lafayette,
Louisiana. Dr. Nguyen is a licensed optometric glaucoma specialist and therapeutic optometrist that provides primary and specialized care to patients of all ages. She remains an active member of the Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys camping, exploring national parks, cooking, and hanging out with her cats.
Emily Sanchez O.D.
Dr. Emily Sanchez is a graduate of the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Adams State University in Colorado. She is licensed in the diagnosis and treatment of various ocular diseases and specialty contact lenses. She is currently a member of the Texas Optometric Association. Dr. Sanchez values getting to know her patients and ensuring quality care with each interaction. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and traveling.
